A voice assistant that gets most of it right

Robin is a voice assistant like Dragon Go! and Google’s voice commands.

Unlike Google Voice commands, Robin can answer a lot more questions and queries than Google Voice commands. It even has more personality than Dragon Go! and can find things that are better related to someone driving in cities.

Using Robin is easy; you can either press the microphone button or wave your hand in front of your device and it will activate. It did not always work, but it is a nice feature if you are driving.

You can ask Robin a lot of different questions about things like navigation, parking, and places, as well as suggestions for topics like food that is close by. It is also possible to have Robin dictate your Twitter feed or access Facebook.

Robin does need a data connection, so you are going to need to be on a mobile device or Wi-Fi to use the app to its full potential. The app is still in beta, but is one of the best for city driving.

Robin is a great app for the constant driver.
